The Red Shield Family Residence (RSFR) is a safe and welcoming homeless shelter that provides loving, respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental services in order to empower residents to strive towards self-sufficiency. The RSFR has provided shelter to homeless women and families since 1972. We currently provide emergency shelter in private rooms, three hot meals a day, case management services, parenting education, after-school and tutoring programs, life skills education, and clean and sober recovery services in a trauma-informed supportive community.
