Friends AIDS Assisted Living II

The Friends Rehabilitation Program (FRP), a faith-based organization, runs the AIDS Assisted Living program, which operates 14 permanent housing units in West Philadelphia for homeless families where an adult is living with HIV/AIDS. The network of HIV/AIDS and homelessness service organizations makes referrals.

AIDS Assisted Living offers housing options from one-bedroom units up to three-bedroom units. Housing units are owned and operated by FRP and are inspected every year to make sure they are up to code. Residents contribute 30% of their income to rent, although this can be reduced if a resident’s income increases above certain levels.

FRP can provide some services to residents of AIDS Assisted Living like case management and referrals. Outside organizations offer other services including volunteer outreach, substance abuse treatment, mental health supportive services, transportation, meals, and clothing.

One Neighborhood developed this summary. If you are an employee of the FRP, contact hello@oneneighborhood.org to update this page.
