Bethesda Project opened Our Brother's Place in November 2003 to serve as a low demand engagement center for hard-to-reach homeless men.

Part of the Resources for Human Development, a nonprofit, the Families In Transition (FIT) program offers transitional housing to 30 female-headed households in Philadelphia. All heads of households are 18-27 years old and the Office of Supportive Housing makes referrals. Families In Transition offers scattered-site transitional housing to 30 female-headed households throughout the Philadelphia area.
