Brighter Pathways was established in response to the growing problem of homelessness in the city of Philadelphia. It aims to assist single women with children by providing emergency shelter services.

Through reliance on the expertise of specialized service providers with proven records of accomplishment in the health and human service fields, Brighter Pathways provides cost-effective services. These services cater to women dealing with addiction or domestic abuse, recurring shelter-system clients, and emancipated teenage mothers.

Brighter Pathways is dedicated improving clients' social skills. The agency is also working to improve the community's perception of people experiencing homelessness.
